Michael Middleton is a local artist who has mastered the firing of local Currituck County clay and makes incredibly stunning pieces with it. Each horse hair pot contains a carbon impression of Corolla wild horse hair. Each pot is unique and one of a kind. On the bottom of each pot, you will find the name of the horse inscribed in the clay.
This beautiful bowl is 3″ high and 8 1/4″ wide (all dimensions are approximate) and is highlighted by its deep chestnut coloring and thumbprints along the rim. Bonita, one of our mares from the Renegade Six harem, donated her hair to be used for this piece.
Michael Middleton works closely with the Corolla Wild Horse Fund. A portion of the proceeds of each Horse Hair Pot sold is donated to the Corolla Wild Horse Fund.
