Assets from annuities or 401K plans are some of the most beneficial gifts for the Fund. These resources grow tax-free until the time of withdrawal. With the innovative use of these assets, you may be able to contribute generously to CWHF as well as provide for your loved ones. Many taxes on these plans may be avoided or reduced through a carefully planned charitable gift. Please consult your tax advisor.
Including the Corolla Wild Horse Fund in your will or trust is a meaningful way to help us continue to support of Corolla’s wild and rescued horses. Our organization has benefited from individuals who had the foresight to include the Corolla Wild Horse Fund in their estate plans.
The Corolla Wild Horse Fund currently has 40 acres in a permanent conservation easement, donated by Mr. and Mrs. Jay Bender. If we are to provide a safe-haven for the future, much more land is needed to sustain the herd. The fair market value of land donated to a nonprofit is typically tax deductible for the donor. Help us maintain important habitat for the horses and all wildlife through a gift of property.
