  • Special Events

  • Mission-Related Merchandise

  • Grants

MANY WAYS TO GIVE

Without federal funding, The Corolla Wild Horse Fund, a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit, raises approximately 85% of its budget through donations, special events, memberships, sponsorships, grants, and mission-related merchandise sales. Every dollar donated helps further our mission to protect and conserve the Colonial Spanish Mustangs living on the Northern Outer Banks. Contributions are tax deductible in accordance with IRS regulations.

For the past 30 years, the CWHF has worked tirelessly to protect, conserve and responsibly manage the herd of wild Colonial Spanish Mustangs roaming freely on the northernmost Currituck Outer Banks. Your tax-deductible donation will help us continue.

We are currently enhancing our museum area with updated information and it is under construction. We are anticipating that displays will be complete and installed by mid-August. If you are visiting prior to this time, we do have temporary displays on view and we are available to speak about the horses, their history and the challenges that we address in managing the herd.
